Hello In Stitches family!
If you’ve watched the weather at all, you’ve seen that this winter is either going to be very cold or very warm, depending on which part of the country you’re in. Here in South Dakota, it’s set to be another cold year. With our animals and property, we spend a lot of time outside even when it’s cold, so thinking about how to keep our heads warm is something that comes up a lot.
And for us at least, we keep our heads warm with beanies.
Beanies, called that because in the early 20th century, your head was your ‘bean’, are a perfect way to keep your head and ears warm during cold weather. After all, you lose 40-45% of your heat from an unprotected head!
Unlike 100 years ago, it’s not just coal miners and offshore fishermen who don the versatile beanie but also actors, musicians, and everyday people just like us.
TREND ALERT:
As with many things, we want to let you know about trends we’re seeing in our industry and one that we have our eye on is laser engraved patches on beanies. Much like this:
Laser engraved patches are far more durable and comfortable to wear than any other personalization we can do on a beanie. Get on this trend in the beginning and you’ll be one of the trend setters next year. 😉
But, that doesn’t mean that’s all we sell. Another popular beanie is the cuffed beanie. We can adorn the cuffed beanie with a laser engraved patch or embroidery. PLUS we are having a sale on royal blue cuffed beanies right now. They are $12 each with patch or embroidery. Get them before they are gone!
Take a look at some of the cuffed beanies we’ve designed recently:
So, let us know how much of a trend setter you’d like to be!
