Hello In Stitches Family!
Do you ever hear a phrase and even use it and then think, ‘Do I even know what that means?’
That happens to us more than we’d care to admit. So today when we thought of the phrase ‘tools of the trade,’ we thought, ‘Do we even know what that means?’
Do you?
Well, if not, or even if you do, we did find out some interesting things when we started looking into it.
“Tools of the trade” has been a phrase used since at least 1825. We always thought that it meant the physical items you would need to complete a job. It does include the actual items, but it also includes the skills, knowledge, and experience of the person completing the task. (Idioms)
So today, we’re going to show you some of the physical items that you can use in your trade, but we also want to applaud you for the skills you have learned over the years to get you to where you are today!
A couple of big names in the trade industry became available to us recently – Carhartt and Dri-Duck. We are excited to be able to offer these amazing products to you for personalization. You could add your logo to them, or your name, or your employee’s name. Pretty much anything!
So, take a look at the items we have to hold the tools of your trade – the physical ones at least.
Plus, could you imagine how great these tools of the trade would be for Christmas gifts? All of them are useful, durable, and can be personalized.
So, what do you think? What are the tools of your trade? Maybe we have something in our arsenal that you could use.
