Wendy’s New Summer Picks!

Hello In Stitches Family! We are so excited to start a new series of seasonal blogs called Wendy’s Picks! As you know, Wendy is one of our illustrious leaders. So, let’s talk about some new picks for summer from your Rapid City embroidery company!

We ordered a lot of different shirts, sweatshirts, and tank tops to try out! You see, we want to try them first for you so that we can tell you which ones will make the best company apparel and custom t-shirts! So let’s take a look!

Sweatshirts and Jackets!

This is a Ladies Tech Fleece Full-Zip Hooded Jacket. I like the weight of this zip up since it’s 100% polyester it’s a little warmer and won’t shrink!

First, can we talk about how the Japanese sizing is 3XL for an American XL! This is why we bring in samples for us to test the size and fit!

Even with a little Ranger, our dog, love on my sweatshirt, this is my favorite! I don’t really like hoodies. The hoods in the back bug me! I may be 5’ nothing but I’m small but mighty so I choose crew neck sweatshirts!

This is a Champion brand classic Eco Fleece Crewneck Sweatshirt. You may remember that Champion was the first to sell sweatshirts! 

This particular sweatshirt is a little heavy but between the color and the fit, it is my favorite!

If I have to wear a hoodie, I like this one! It’s a District ®️ Women’s Lightweight Fleece Raglan Hoodie. This is the perfect sweatshirt for cool summer nights! I also like that the heather color will show less dirt!

This J. America Women’s Melange Fleece Colorblocked Full-Zip Sweatshirt fits me so well! Usually women’s sizes don’t. If I do get a hoodie, I prefer ones like this with the full zip! (Those darn power surges, if you know what I mean!)

This Lady Sprinter Tri-Mountain UltraCool®️ moisture-wicking ¼ zip pullover is actually more mesh than sweatshirt material. With this one, we would only recommend screen printing, and a small decoration at that. Where this really shines is with sun protection! It covers you without being too hot! Am I good at sunscreen? Sort of! But this would definitely help me with that!

T-Shirts!

This soft brown heather t-shirt is a great weight and look! If you want to get technical, it’s called Tultex Premium 541 Unisex Premium Cotton Blend Tee.

I love the color of this Next Level™ Women’s CVC Tee. It’s not pink, but it’s not purple either! (It’s called Lush if you want one the same color!) I wish it was a little longer but it’s a good one!

This is my No. 2 pick of all the t-shirts! It’s 90% spandex so it’s got a lot of give to it! I do wish that I would have ordered a lighter color because I would love to wear this gardening! (If you would like to order one, it is a Sport-Tex®️ Ladies Rashguard Tee.)

This District®️ Women’s Scorecard Tee is my No. 1 pick of all the t-shirts! I love the length and the fabric! You will definitely see me running around in this beauty this summer!

This is my dressier pick for summer! I love how it drapes and feels! The District®️ Women’s Draper Long Sleeve Tee is 70/30 poly/rayon so it will wash well without shrinking! This is one of those shirts that we would need to use our special print ink blend on but we have you covered!

I have to admit, it was too cold for me to model these but I do have them and will give you my opinion on them!

I love the back of this BELLA+CANVAS®️ Women’s Flowy Racerback Tank! It’s the perfect place to put a little decoration!

This tank comes in so many different colors! I love the feel and the drape of this District®️ Women’s Perfect Tri®️ Racerback Tank!

Last but not least, we have this Sport-Tek®️ Ladies Sleeveless PosiCharge®️ Competitor™ V-Neck Tee. I’ll tell you a secret, I used to wear these to work when I worked in an office. Now a days, these are my summer go-tos! The 100% polyester with care, I only line dry mine, will last!
